The Massachusetts Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC) offers free food and nutrition information to help keep pregnant women, infants and children under five years of age healthy and strong.

Women are eligible if they:

  • Live in Massachusetts
  • Are pregnant, postpartum or breastfeeding an infant or child under 5 years of age
  • Have a nutritional need
  • Have a household income that is less than or equal to the income guidelines below:

You are automatically income eligible for WIC if you currently receive TAFDC, Food Stamps or Medicaid.

HOW TO APPLY FOR WIC: 
To set up an appointment, call 1-800-WIC-1007 for assistance. There are 37 WIC locations across Massachusetts. The local WIC program staff will tell you what to bring to your appointment.
